MOST COMMON MISTAKES:
- ORDERING SOD BEFORE YOUR GROUND IS PREPPED ESPECIALLY IN HOT WEATHER.
- MOWING YOUR GRASS TOO LOW. 3” IS IDEAL FOR TURF TYPE TALL FESCUE, HOWEVER 3.5” IS BEST WHEN WEATHER IS HOT AND DRY.
- MYTH: DON’T WATER GRASS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY.
- FACT: IF IT NEEDS WATER-WATER IT!
- SEPTEMBER THROUGH MID OCTOBER IS PERFECT TIME FOR SEEDING.
